Introduction

Hi! My name is Terin Voisine. I am originally from Maine, but I have lived in New Hampshire for the last 16 years.

My undergraduate degree is in Mathematics and I started my professional career as a Mutual Fund Accountant before switching to teaching 16 years ago. I have never regretted making the switch! I taught middle school for three years before moving up to the high school school I currently work at. During that time I have taught every course from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus and Statistics. This year I am also working as as adjunct professor and teaching Quantitative Reasoning.

I have been slowly plugging away at an M.Ed. in Educational Technology, with a concentration in Mathematics for the last few years, and really kicking myself for not doing it right after my undergraduate degree 19 years ago! After this course, I have two more math courses and then I will be done. I am hoping to complete everything this summer!

When I am not teaching, my family LOVES vacationing at Disney World and Universal, and some would say we are obsessed with all things Disney and Harry Potter!

  1. Hi again, Terin. I also have two classes left after this one. I am a middle school librarian in Scarborough, Maine. Where did you grow up in Maine?

  2. Hi Amy,
I grew up in Lincoln, but I lived in the Portland area from 1998-2003. I even did my student teaching at Scarborough High School and my best friend lives there now (you probably know her children) so I know the area very well. I am always excited to meet people from Maine!
